 Owners, Charles and Margaret are retiring to Costa Rica after being in Fancy Gap, Virginia for 9 years. We purchased the first of 5 buildings in December 2005 after selling our landscape company in the Charlotte NC area. All buildings were reworked for commercial use.  We are withing walking distance to the famed Blue Ridge Parkway at the intersection of the Parkway and Hwy 52. We are less than 2 miles off Interstate 77 at Exit 8 in Fancy Gap, Virginia.

Fancy Gap is located between Winston Salem NC and Roanoke VA. It features a less stressful lifestyle. Four seasons allow for biking, hiking, canoeing, trout fishing, and motorcycle riding. Golf courses, festivals, outdoor music, wineries, camping, motorcoach resorts, and the New River provide entertainment. People continue to retire  to this area for its natural beauty.

We have operated successfully the deli, antique and garden shoppes for the past 8 years. The remaining 2 buildings were purchased in 2009, renovated and are currently leased. 55% of our retail business is from Greensboro, Winston Salem, Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina. 15% is from South Carolina to Florida and 15% is from West Virginia to Canada. Our shoppes have been visited by folks from all 50 states and 24 foreign countries.

All buildings have been renovated, made handicap accessible, professionally landscaped and are under irrigation if it is needed. The gardens are in bloom 6 months out of the year. All buildings are connected to each other by landscaped walkways or parking areas. Each building is individually metered and will be connected to county water and sewer by March 2014.

We feel the addition of county water and sewer to Fancy Gap at Exit 8 and to the Hwy52 area should spur future growth.
